The Lawrence Hall of Science

One of the Bay Area’s most beloved destinations, The Lawrence Hall of Science has recently gone through a visual identity rebrand. A critical part of this initiative focused on improving the “experience” of visitors from parking lot to front door to exhibits to restrooms. An intial exploration was develped by IDEO. 

GNU Group was hired by IDW to assist in vetting and further developing IDEO’s recommendations on wayfinding and ensure they could be built, executed and were in alignment with the new Brand Identity being rolled out. 

GNU Group also assisted in developing a new ADA and fire safety code compliant sign program, accessible to all.
