Mills Building

The Mills Building is a San Francisco landmark and a storied part of the city’s history. Bringing a 134 year old iconic building into the 21st century required a sensitive balance of classic with contemporary. GNU created a comprehensive interior sign program and an easily updateable static digital directory, while still capturing the building’s traditional features. Embracing digital technology within this historic setting required a design that fit the building’s aesthetic and interior design.
