Town of San Anselmo

When the Town of San Anselmo’s Economic Development Committee instituted a branding, signage and wayfinding program, they turned to one its members and town resident, GNU Group founder Richard Burns. Rich enlisted the firm, in collaboration with renowned designer/illustrator Michael Schwab to create the program.  GNU Group provided their Sign Profile Analysis to show locations, quantities, budget considerations, creative concepts and technical drawings. Key to the design is the new Town logo, designed by Michael, that prominently features Sugarfoot, an iconic deer immortalized in a bronze statue that graces Town Hall.
